Community celebrated Indian Republic
Day.
March 20
- at Corban Estate Art Centre, Henderson
the Dance school put up one item rang
Tali-(Indian Folk Dance of Gujarat) for
race relations day festival.
March 26 - at
Kelston Girl’s High School Hall for
Eater celebrations the Dance
school put up two items.
July 16 - at New Lynn
Community Centre, Totara Avenue, New
Lynn, West Auckland, the Dance
school was invited to participate in
Indian Cultural program
for Migrant & Refugee Communities Health
promotion day. Academy put up two items
(1) Rang Tali ( a folk Dance of
Gujarat, India) (2) Ma Tujhe Salam
(Patriotic Song) was organized and
sponsored by Waitemata DHB’s Migrant &
Refugee Health Support Service working
in partnership with Waitemata District
Health Board.
August 13 -
the Dance
school presented items (1) Ma Tughe
Salaam and (2) Rang Tali ( Indian Folk
Dance from Gujarat State, India)
performed for independence.
August 15 -
put Indian flag in top of Harbour Bridge
on the occasion of Indias independence.
September 10 -
the Dance school participated in the WIA
Children's Concert.
