The Senior's Group operates
under the guidance of the Waitakere Indian Association. Mr.
Rajesh Verma is the Director of the group and also an
executive member of the association. Mr Yati Dayal is the
President assisted by Mrs. Mehar Singh as Secretary and
Assistant. Secretary is Mrs. Lata Varma.
The group meets on every third
Sunday of each month at the Corban's Art Center, Mt. Lebnon
Lane in Henderson. Various outdoor activities are also
organised such as picnic trips, visits to historical places,
participating in religious functions and visits to other
places of interest to the members. Doctors, Police Officers
and other prominent people are also invited to the meetings
to give advice on health issues, safety and well being of
the members.
