Waitakere Indian Association is actively looking for new members.

Benefits of joining WIA as a member include:

• Free Hindi language classes for members and their children
  - classes are held every Sunday from 10am - 12.00
• Free Tabla and Harmonium classes to members
  - classes are held every Sunday from 12.00 - 1pm
• Senior citizens meet once a month
• Youth and sports - WIA started a soccer team which plays regular competition (sunday league & 7 a side) under the name Westside United
• Participation in many social, cultural & sporting activities organised
  by WIA for the enjoyment of the community
• Subsidised picnic trips
