Waitakere Indian Association (WIA) once again
celebrated the 2010 Diwali Festival in great style at the Trust Stadium. Over 15
thousand people joined us in these celebrations and it was a huge success
One of the reasons behind this festival is to rejoice the
triumph of good over evil.
The full days program was a delight to watch. There were lots of
activities as well has several art and craft and food stalls. The patrons
thoroughly enjoyed the festive atmosphere.
